‘Cymatics’ is the physics of sound made visible.

The inspiration for the particular frequency used to create this image came from the Schumann Resonance: Earth’s resonant vibrational frequency. The Earth has an electromagnetic field surrounding and protecting all living things with a natural frequency pulsation of 7.83 hertz, along with progressively weaker harmonics at around 14.3, 20.8, 27.3, and 33.8 Hz. These oscillations are called the Schumann resonances.
